| The puppies are two days old and doing well. You will be amazed at their growth over the next 8 weeks. They are born blind and deaf--all they do is eat and sleep for about the first 10 days--eyes and ears open around 10-14 days of age. |

Socialization
|
| Socialization is a very important process for our puppies and starts very early here at Ridgewood. We spend 24 hours a day with our puppies and welcome visitors to help socialize our puppies. Below are a few pictures of Chewie and puppies. |
One Week Old
| The puppies are doing well and at one week of age they have about doubled in size and weight from birth. Their eyes and ears are still shut, but over then next couple of days they will slowly start to see and hear. They have had visitors numerous times this week already and are being handled daily, they have also had their toe nails trimmed already! Below are some pictures of the puppies at one week old and their weight at 7 days. I also included a few pictures of the other dogs hanging out in the nursery. |
